From the public areas and bathrooms, to the parking lot and landscaping, it was just dirty and kind of depressing. The biggest stand out from our stay is it is dirty. Overall this is a below average “resort”. We have stayed here many times and to be treated like that THEY DO NOT CAREĪs much as it pains me to say this, as I have been traveling to Mountaineer since I was a child (age 51 now), this resort has fallen upon hard times. there were peanuts and paper on the floor from the last people who stayed.when we left on the 2nd asked to to talk to somebody about problems she did not care or offer us anything for the problems my wife played 2 1/2 days almost non stop at slots and checked if she had anything at vip services nothing after 2 1/2 days of slots no new towels we had to call to get new towels and cups.
when it was time to call it a night noticed no cups in room had to go back to casino to get some cups to brush teeth.we left next morning so they could clean the room when we got back around 5:30 room was never cleaned. Me and my wife stayed june 30-jwe tried checking in 3 times room not ready i know they say 4 pm check in there were other people getting there room early.when we tried again about 4 45 they called housekeeping she never told us was they said when we went to room door was propped open by trash can nobody in room.
